The origin of Famicom Sessions dates back to September 2009. On a chilly autumn evening, MisfitChris was introduced to Famitracker by fellow musician Tristendo Corrales. It was on this evening that Chris began writing what is now known as Famicom Sessions. A collection of experimental NES jams that document Chris's first year of composing Chipmusic.

After I saw the trailer for FEZ on Switch, I’ve been tracking down that remix, and finally, I’ve found it. It’s such a lovely song. Also, now I know where Kompass, one of my favorite songs came from. & ZEF’s cover art is painful and I hate it & The Impartation also has a painful cover but I can forgive it because it’s wondrous & glorious & very enjoyable. Also, why the HELL is this album ONE DOLLAR? It’s worth so much more than that. hatlesss
